PKD Page

PKD or Polycystic Kidney Disease is an inherited or genetic disease than can affect any cat, but especially Persians.  Most Persian breeders will know about PKD but further info can be found from the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) who accredit testing centres to the highest standard in the UK.  Our breeding cats were tested by a FAB accredited Vet on 16 October 2003 and other cats were either already FAB tested or had negative FAB tested parents.   

All cats in our breeding program are negative.  All cats and kittens on this site that are negative have their status indicated.  We are pleased to be able to supply copies of documentation confirming PKD negative status for all kittens on this site.
